BBC WM- Nikki Tapper and Joe Aldred Expierence

On the 2nd November on a sunday evening I got the oppportunity to go into BBC WM at the Mailbox in Birmingham to the radio studio and get involved with the chat back show with Nikki Tapper and Joe Aldred. On the show I had the opportunity to get involved with the debate that was going on which was ” How do you prepare your child for the world of racism”. As I used to previously attend WM as a younger child it was the first time that I had gone live on the Radio since the age of 6 actually getting involved with the live broadcasting and voicing my opinion to the public listeners, after featuring on the radio I got to watch and learn how the show ran. Watching Nikki and Joe present the show, the produce; producing the show making sure everything ran as smooth as possible and Ricky taking the calls and welcoming the guest speakers that were invited to the show.

The Truth; Filming and Editing

This was a task that myself and my friends took upon ourselves to do. In BOA the musical theatre students had to complete a role play of any sort as part of their course and the group I worked with decided to be creative and wrote a script called ‘The Truth’ based on 4 sisters who’s father recently past and they are finding out from a written letter he wrote before passing that 3 of the sisters aren’t his biological daughters which causes a argument between the girls but they then realise that they actually need to stick together as each other is all that they have

Warner Bros. Studio. London – The Making Of Harry Potter

Today was the day that as a school we got the chance to visit the making of Harry Potter studio’s , this was a once in a lifetime opportunity as i would have never thought of going there before. On the trip i got the chance to find out and learn a lot of useful information about how hard it is to make a film and looking at it in great detail. Relising that it’s not just cameras and actors but there are also some behind the scenes important roles in order to make the film Harry Potter so magnificent. This video reflects all the magical visuals i got to witness and what you could witness if you favour to go.
